Hazim Madany Chairman

Formulating the know-how in the field of banking and financial services from a wide spectrum of cumulative past experiences, Mr. Hazim Madany co-founded Nawayah with a clear vision to fill the void found within the micro-finance sector.
Prior to Nawayah Mr. Madany was the CEO and MD of Dopay International, with operations across a number of countries.
Before joining dopay Mr. Madany was the Deputy Chairman and CEO of Tanmeyah Micro Enterprise Services, a company specialized in providing financial services to the micro business sector.
Formerly Mr. Madany was the COO of the Bank of Alexandria Intesa Sanpaolo. 
Mr. Madany received his B.Sc. in Computer Science and Engineering from the University of Wisconsin, Madison (USA) in 1985. He also received his Diploma of Graduate Studies in Business Administration, from the University of Warwick (United Kingdom) in 2000.

Sameh Gamal El Din Board Member

Sameh has more than 35 years of experience in the IT professional services field. Sameh worked for IT department in Major National & multinational banks with focus on all banking application aspects (core, retail, Operation, risk & planning, etc.). Sameh moved to NCR Corporation as a solution provider to the banking industry. Blending his expertise with NCR’s system integration capacity. His Entrepreneurship skills and passion led him to leave NCR and establish BSD (Banking System Development). BSD grew rapidly with a solid pace. By early 2006, Sameh envisioned the need to expand BSD’s operation and reach new heights. He then aligned and partnered actively to transform BSD into egabi, with new injected capital and expanded management team. Sameh’s Management skills and natural team building talent helped him grow egabi’s PS team in number, function and industry coverage to include Banking, Financial Services, Telecom and Government. His focus in process excellence helped egabi achieve CMMI L3 and moving forward.

Mohamed Atwan CEO

Mr. Mohamed Atwan has extensive background in banking, payments and microfinance operations.
A former Director of Technology and Global Operations of “dopay International”, Co-founder and board member of “Go Plus for Logistical Services SAE”, founder of “Mutaba’a”; a firm specialized in Field Investigation and Debts Collection for numerous banks and MFIs in Egypt.
Mr. Atwan served as the Head of Organization and Methods department for ”Tanmeyah Micro Enterprise Services” and was part of the team responsible for the restructuring of Bank of Alexandria prior to the privatization of the bank.
Mr. Atwan also provided consulting services to reputable financial institutions in Egypt.

Hisham Sanad Board Member

Co-founded egabi Solutions in mid-2006. As Chairman and CEO, Mr. Sanad led egabi to a leading role in the IT Solutions & Services within the region with a remarkable productivity and healthy growth patterns, becoming a first level partner for major global technology vendors, a strategic solutions partner for major customers in ME&A especially in Banking, Telecom & Government sectors and an employer of choice to young energetic IT talents & professionals. Sanad was a non-executive board member of ITIDA (IT Industry Development Agency) in Egypt. www.itida.gov.eg. Sanad is the former Chairman of the Chamber of Communication and Information Technology (CIT), a member of the Egyptian Federations of Industries with around 800 member ICT companies. He is also a non-executive board member of Technology Development Fund (TDF); a venture capital fund in Egypt focusing on innovation, entrepreneurship and startup ICT companies. Through Years 2001 till early 2006, Sanad was an executive director at Raya Corporation. Sanad held the positions of MD Raya Regional Services; MD Raya Software and GM of Operations Raya Integration. In 1997, Mr. Sanad, was GM and Partner in STS (Solutions and Technology Services),. Mr. Sanad joined NCR Corporation in 1989. By Year 1994, was the Sales Manager, Banking Sector in Egypt. A constant achiever where he attended several training and development programs in executive management & leadership. Prior to that Sanad started his career at Xerox Corporation, the Document Company, as Field Service Engineer 1987 till 1989. Mr. Sanad holds a BSc. with honors in Engineering Class of 1987; Communication & Electronics major from Ain Shams University Cairo, Egypt. In 2004, Mr. Sanad successfully attended a Strategic Executive Leadership Program at Harvard Business School, USA.
